Baby L - Part II

Well I'm obviously still getting used to this blog. I apologize for the photos being posted from the end to the beginning rather than beginning to end. Also, I apparently hit my limit on space for that post because it cut off the first few photos, so I'll post them here. Please be patient with me, I'll figure it out eventually :)

Sweet baby boy - Newborn Session Portraits

Meet precious baby L who I met last Saturday when he was just 6 days old. He was one of the best newborns I've photographed, and slept well considering how much I moved him around. Plus, he's adorable! So I really enjoyed the session, and I hope mom and dad and all the proud family members love the photos! :)

Boy Birth Announcement Examples

I'm posting some examples of boy birth announcements for my newest little client's family to see. If you like one of these, we can just add his photo and change the info on it. Or I can make a brand new one for you. :)

Welcome!

Hi everyone and thank you for visiting! This blog will be the (hopefully very) temporary location until my new website is built. Its not as good as a "real" website and I can't give you all the information here that I want to, including pricing and galleries of my work, but its better than nothing. I hope you'll visit often and continue to do so once the website is finished!

Let me share a little about myself for those who don't know me, I'm Amanda and I am a lifestyle photographer in Boise, Idaho. I specialize in photographing babies and children, but enjoy doing engagements, weddings, pets, families, high school seniors, and other types of photography as well. I always loved photography, but I started practicing and learning all about custom lifestyle photography after I had my second son. After a bad experience at a portrait studio I was fed up with them and we haven't been to one since. I have grown to love the gift that photos are, and enjoy putting my creativeness and passion into every session. Just as people purchase souvenirs from places they travel, I believe photos are souvenirs from our lives, reminders of a time we can never go again. Those memories are dear to our heart, and the photos that represent those moments should be the best photos possible. They should be colorful, sharp, well composed, and most of all they should capture you for who you are in a place you feel comfortable and happy. I put my heart into my work, and I am always happy to know you are happy with the photos I have taken. Its sounds cliche or cheesy, but I mean it when I say if you're not happy, I'm not happy. That said, I hope you enjoy what you see here and the portraits I share bring a smile to your face and a little sunshine to your day! :)
